The Significance & Lessons of Islamic Months

The hijri year is not a calendar widget. This conference at Islamic Center Information Hub walks from Muharram to Dhul Hijjah: Ashura, Rabi al-Awwal and seerah, Rajab and Sha’ban as preparation, Ramadan, Shawwal, Dhul Hijjah and Hajj — what each month asks of a Muslim in Firozabad.

Teachers connect the month to the Center’s own programmes: Ramadan workshops, Hajj training camps, Foundation Day in late October, and competitions tied to seerah. Families leave with a simple year-plan rather than a pile of unconnected events.

Anyone who wants their home to follow the Islamic year with knowledge — not only Eid shopping — will find this gathering useful. It is one of the ways the Center teaches time as ibadah.
