Computer and Video Editing Workshop

Islamic Center Information Hub runs this workshop so students in Madina Colony can sit at a computer without fear and finish a short clip with haya. The sitting covers files, folders, typing, and the basic tools of video editing — cutting, titles, sound — for class recordings, Center announcements, and simple dawah clips, not for wasting hours on empty content.

Sisters’ batches are held so girls can learn freely. Trainers from the Center’s own staff walk participants through a small project: a one-minute piece they can show a parent. Haya in what is filmed, whose face is shown, and what music is used is taught as part of the skill, not as a lecture after the edit.

When a batch completes, certificates and small prizes are given in the hall — the same standard as our other civic workshops: Deen and Duniya together. Youth who want a computer skill that serves the home and the Center are welcome when the next dates are announced. A longer Video Editing course also runs for those who wish to go further.
