Hijab Day Conference

On Hijab Day, Islamic Center Information Hub gathers sisters, mothers, and supporting families to honour hijab as an act of ibadah and identity. Talks cover fiqh, social pressure in Indian colleges, and the difference between a cloth and a heart that has accepted the command of Allah ﷻ.

Testimonies, when given, are voluntary and modest. Stalls and a small book table often sit outside the hall. Brothers attend the portions meant for them: how to support, not police, and how their own haya must match what they expect.

The conference is part of the Center’s public work on women’s dignity, alongside the feminism seminar and girls’ education programmes. Visitors from other parts of Firozabad are welcome; the door of the Center is for the city, not only one lane.
