Haya Day

Haya Day is set aside to teach children and youth what haya looks like in a joke, a thumbnail, a cricket ground, and a classroom. Islamic Center Information Hub uses stories, short talks, and age-split groups so a six-year-old and a sixteen-year-old are not given the same speech.

The day supports the Haya Conference and the haya-and-hijab seminar. Together they make haya a calendar item, not a scolding when something has already gone wrong.

Families from Madina Colony and beyond are invited. The Center’s character work — personality workshop, academy adab, this day — is one project with many doors.
